“There is no higher calling, for me, than to serve others.”

Who I Am

I’m Brittany Bengert—I am a mother, wife, and a veteran of the United States Army.

I grew up in Georgia and aside from my time serving in, and working for the Army, I have called no other place my home. I am a resident of Cherokee County and am alumni of Kennesaw State University and The George Washington University.

I learned from an early age that there is no greater calling than to serve others. Having served in Americorps, the United States Army, both as a Soldier and a Civilian, and various volunteer roles, I am now called to serve you, directly.

Americorps Alumni

During my time with Americorps, I taught General Educational Development (GED) courses to 16-21 year olds. Teaching Social Studies and Language Arts, I helped many obtain their goal of receiving their GED.

United States Army Veteran

I proudly served in the United States Army as a Combat Medic. Stationed at Fort Carson, CO, I served with the Evacuation Platoon of Charlie Company, 204th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division.

Simply put, I am running for Georgia’s State Senate in District 14 to serve you. I have watched as my friends, family, neighbors, and community members have gone ignored for far too long. It is long past time that your interests are addressed.
